Welcome to Nottinghamshire Neighbourhood Watch

The Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in the United Kingdom is a partnership where people come together to make their communities safer.

It involves the Police; Community Safety Departments of Local Authorities; other voluntary organisations and, above all, individuals and families who want to make their neighbourhoods better places to live.

The scheme aims to help people protect themselves and their properties and to reduce the fear of crime by means of home security, greater vigilance, accurate reporting of suspicious incidents to the police and by fostering a community spirit.

NottsWatch is the brand name used by the Nottinghamshire Neighbourhood Watch Association – an umbrella organisation created to co-ordinate, strengthen, develop and celebrate the Neighbourhood Watch movement throughout Nottinghamshire.

So if you are interested in making your District, your Street, your home a safer place to live, then you are at the right place!

Have a look around our site and see how NottsWatch can help you create a safer future for yourself, your family and your community. Become a member of your local scheme and wrap the strength of the community around you and your family.
